The patient became hypotensive during
the transfer from the O.R. to the ICU.
The reduction in blood pressure, PA
pressure, wedge pressure and cardiac
index are usually a result of hypo-
volemia related to the transfer,
ongoing blood loss, and less than ideal
attention to patient hemodynamics.

The patient should be placed in the
Trendelenberg position and adminstered
blood immediately.
